I was about to leave this morning for a radio appearance to promote You Bet: The Betfair Story - How two men changed the world of gambling when Lois reminded me of what is currently one of her favourite songs. "Video killed the radio star, video killed the radio star," she sang, clear as day. The late JG Ballard said any fool could write a book, but you needed to be a genius to sell one". A thick skin helps and some perspective, too.
