The Racing Post newspaper ran an interview with me yesterday covering my book, You Bet - The Betfair Story: How two men changed the world of gambling. The day before, I received word that someone featured in the book wanted to discuss my take on his contributions to the text. Perhaps it was timely that my words given during a 45 minute interview were also about to be publicly conveyed by another writer. Meaning that this was exactly what I had done in completing my book. Finding myself facing both the perspective of considering my take on someone's quotes and being quoted, myself, reminded me that print remains a powerful medium. All writers need to be respectful of that.
